Syq found Merp in a river one day and asked Mark if he could keep it. Ever since then, Merp has been on Syq's shoulder, in his pocket, or by his side. Merp is as hard as a rock but can change shape like a fluid, though he often just stays in a turtle shape. Merp has three emtional states: nonchalant happiness, nonchalant anger, and nonchalance. Over all, Merp just doesn't care whether he is being thrown or being fed.
