Syq was orphaned at a young age by a fire that ravaged his village. Without parents, he held no spite against Marquee, allowing him to follow Mark when he was in the village. Mark tried to ditch him, and refused to feed him as Syq followed him deep out of town, but choose to let him continue with him when Syq proved to be a better pickpocket than Mark himself. Syq only desires to go where Mark goes.
